As for me, sadly, I've failed my first week! I had planned to paint the boy's bedroom. Well, to be honest, I haven't even started.
But, I did get a lot done around our yard. Every afternoon the boys and I have been outside pruning, pruning, pruning. It all started with the trumpet vine that sits in front of our porch.
I noticed quite a while ago that it was growing in to the roof. Aggressive plant, apparently. Not anymore!
We have junipers all along the street in front of the big oak trees. They were growing like crazy.
We took care of that too.
Another area of the yard has some english ivy that is super cute but totally out of control. I cut it from it's base around this oak tree. According to what I've read, it is really bad for the tree. Supposedly it will die and be easy to pull down.
Check out this pile of limbs behind the trampoline! We worked hard.
A photo of my helpers who were *ahem* in the tree house more than hauling brush! :)
Here is my reminder that spring is on its way, the compost pile. I need to add a little manure and hope that it's done by the time the garden is!
Stay tuned for more Spring Spruce Up projects!

I'll join you on your spring spruce up. Mine will be a bit different though. Today I was amazed I was able to clean the bathroom after the week I had. I will be focusing on purging and getting our house ready to move. Then, March, we will be setting up our new house. Oh, and then finding said house. Sorry rambling. ;)
You guys worked hard good job! Here is a link for you,

I thought of you when I read about the bees:)
Great job working on the outside of your house. That would be a true major challenge for me. LOL I am so not an outdoors person. The allergies don't help-after pulling just a few weeds, WITH gloves on, my arm itches like crazy. But I digress.
Thank you for your kind words. My white carpet is considerably less stain free. I really need to do something about it.
I will try to get my before and after pictures put up soon.
I have been planning some new things in my yard this spring, along with painting the upstairs den, and fixing up our bathroom.
My dear husband started renovating it last spring and got distracted by well everything we own deciding to break.
The lord blessed me this week with a reprieve from a week indoors due to the ice storm. Our weather has been mild the last few days, and i found crocus' blooming, and my daffodils are up.
