Check out this site, and you too could be a future marathon runner! It's a very concrete and easy to use *free* plan, to get you up off the couch and running 5k in ten weeks. By mid-March you could be running for real.
I plan to blog about some beginning running plans in the next couple of days too....I will check out this link. In my most recent issue of Women's Running magazine, there was a very doable beginning running plan. I guess since you are pregnant, you will just stick with the walking.... Let us know how the glass jars go. I am down to just 2 sippy cups for my 2 youngest who are too old for sippy cups, but they drink milk in them every morning in my bed--I don't want spills in there! However, they drink out of open plastic cups all day. So do my other 3 children too. We may switch to glass too, after I hear how it goes at your house. Since I write their names on the plastic cups, I guess I would have to use markers like you do. Have a great New Year's Day!
Hey Jennifer~ Kevin and I did this last summer!! It was awesome and I shocked myself that I could actually RUN at the end of it! It helped me lose 60 lbs too. But once it got too cold we took a break. Can't wait for warmer weather and we can go running again. Still have another 20 lbs to get off anyway!
I have dedicated my life to being first a helpmeet to my wonderful husband and then a homeschooling mother to my sweet children. Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
My Eldest. Sweet, loving, driven, can be counted on. Not to mention, super cute with serious fashion sense and a beautiful singing voice.
Macho Man
Hangs out in trees, rides bikes and loves to skate board but also a book worm. He is the one that reads all the books in the van on the way home from the library.
Creative Genius
Shockingly creative, intelligent, takes in everything and pays attention to every conversation, remembering them for years! He's just like his father in so many ways.
Speed Racer
My sweet and cuddly boy. He is a mix between Macho Man and a teddy bear. Wants to be a fire fighter when he grows up.
Girly Girl
Loves all things pink but can carry on a conversation about armies, cowboys and backhoes due to her extensive knowledge about boy stuff. She likes to dress up and make sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to at all times.
Sweetie Pie
The busiest gal in the bunch. She wants to be oh so independant. Loves to be read to and is always up for a little roughhousing. Also speaks fluent Pebbles Flinstone. We think she is quite advanced and very talented.
Couponing 101
Something to think about...
"Before I got married, I had six theories about bringing up children; now I have six children and no theories. "
