The Hand That Rocks The Cradle

Who's idea was it to sign the female half of our race up for the military? No woman that has cared for and mothered a child, that's for sure. What do these people do when they are called on to leave their children to "serve" our country? They leave their real calling.

Read here for what's happening to a real mom and her real baby.

WOW, that is just so sad. They would rather see a child in foster care!! Thats insane!!

One of the biggest reasons Paul had it tough in recruiting. He did not want to recruit females....

And though what this mom was supposedly told is untrue, I'm not surprised that she was told it......

Whose idea was women in equal roles in military service? Well, it wasn't men's idea, that's for darn sure.

Men resisted and thwarted the efforts of women who felt that it was their calling to defend their nation for years.

Women have fought long and hard for the ability to be treated as the intelligent, capable soliers they can be.

While I would not enlist if I were a young mother or a married woman planning to start a family during my term of enlistment, military service is a valuable, honourable option for many.

In Israel all young people, male *and* female, serve in the IDF immediately after high school and before university or marriage. Girls with religious objections to military service do Sherut Leumi [National Service] and do such things as work on the ambulance service or work in day cares or schools. (Married women are automatically exempt from military service, Sherut Leumi and miluim [annual reserve duty].)

I find it horrific that anyone would consider foster an option, i know there are good kind people out there, but you just don't know or have any control...crazy

This is so ridiculus! It is obvious this woman can't deploy yet, they put her in jail for a short time anyway even knowing her cercumstances.

Women belong at home in the heart of thier families. She should have been taken out of the military when she couldn't find anyone to tend to the child.

I don't believe women should be in the military at all. I will not have any of children go into the military. It would be against our belief's if we kill and, I won't have them vow to someone we/they don't believe in.

What is Our country coming too?
