One more picture of my kids today, ok? Here is my oldest son, out braving the fierce cold - ten degrees - to water the chickadees. I'm so proud of that him, he rolls right out of his warm bed to let those hens out, collect eggs and change the water. He's such a good boy.

that is my least favorite farm chore, I don't envy him one bit.
My son brought some new hens home for our rooster, and just turned them loose in the yard, we haven't caught the crazy things yet. I am just praying we beat the coyotes.
